Coming home 2006 So we've just spent the last 7 months in australia, and for those of you who didnt know, we are now on our way home. Melbourne was a great place to live and it was a shame to leave the place. We met some cool people and made some good friends, I enjoyed my work at optimedia, although it was probably the hardest i have ever worked - but at the same time very rewarding. My contract expired and due to restrictions on my working holiday visa, was never renewed, so we have spent the last month waiting in mebourne giving notice on our apartment. We have since sold all of our belongings to a guy called brendan who took the whole lot off our hands which was cool. Fortunatly the world cup has been on, so this was a perfect time to be unemployed. Oh yeah, i havent mentioned our plan for this trip - well due to the high cost we had to abandon our original plan of continuing going round the world via the americas (we really wanted to go to south amercia, but the flights were too pricey) - so we are going back round the way we came - pretty closely actually. We are flying to the UK, but stopping over in malaysia and sri lanka. We plan to spend 6 months doing this, so 5 months in south east asia (again) including a month in borneo which will be new, and then a month in sri lanka, getting back to the uk before the new years (but possibly after xmas) well thats the plan, so for this journey i have decided to use my netGallery website i developed over the last 6 months and record our route as we go - all email updates will be fired out from netGallery form now on, although you can reply as normal to me. let me know how you find using netGallery and if you have any suggestions for improvements or problems or whatever - also news from your end would be good. well that is all for now, next stop KL Gav

Well, here I am, ready to sail off into the distance, for in two days time I will be leaving the fair land of Korea and starting a new adventure. So off to China we go (we being Moo and I) on a ferry boat, ready for some fun and frolics. So here's a little introduction... The boyfriend (that would be the Mooman), have just finished our jobs in Korea and now we are planning to have a bit of fun in Asia. I am quite excited by it as my time has come to move on from Korea, and I am ready for some fun. Oh yes! So we plan to head to China, then the Philippines, and then wherever our curiosities take us! I can't wait for the beaches...*sigh*

Me, Mom & Nana went to Vegas for mine and Nana's birthday's in June. This was our present from Mom. We stayed 8 days and 7 nights at Treasure Island and went to see The Chippendales Show on Monday, Cirque du' Soleil on Wednesday, The David Copperfield Show on Wensday and the helicopter ride with Maverick, over the Grand Canyon on Tuesday.
