So we're now in Kota Kinabalu here in Borneo.

Its pretty hot here - constantly sunny and in the 30s. We've been here a few days now, yesterday we went to a nearby island and spent the day chilling on a white sandy beach - life is hard - the beach was ok, it was a shame they charged us entry on to the beach so what with the cost of the boat and entry to the beach it turned into a fairly pricey day.

met a cool guy who works for the hotel who took us out for seafood - lorraine's chicken dish was inedible (mental note, only get seafood in a seafood restaurant). We went to a big outdoor food market place and sat rright by the tanks of fish and eels and frogs and stuff.

Louis (thats the dude from the hotel) and i had some steamed fish and loads of massive prawns - very nice.

We ended up getting pretty bored in KK so we decided to head for a beach at a place called Papar.
