on the way up the east coast we checked out a town called Kauntan which was pretty lame, just a big dirty town with nothing of interest here.
We got a taxi to the nearby beach Teluk Chempudek which was actually really nice, bit white sandy beach, but there were no budget accomodation so we only spent the day there sunbathing.
