After having one of the worst sickest evenings of my life due to the noodle soup we got on a bus for bangkok, it was only 3 hours but i was so tired and weak it felt like double it - we quickly found a cheap hotel near a sky train and i crashed out for the day.
We spent a lot of time shopping, looking for rings for lorraine - it was going well till i looked on the Argos website in the UK and found that they were cheaper in england by several hundred pounds, so lorraine will have to wait for a nice ring.
Lorraine also got ill, so it might not have been food poisening from the noodle soup but maybe a stomach bug, well lorraine felt terrible but whereas mine happened in the evening lorraine had a whole day of being very ill.
Whilst in bangkok we went to many malls, drinking in Koh San Road, more malls and sorting out our visas, in the end we got a little bored but it was interesting to see how stuff that was being built a year ago was complete and open and things (mega posh malls).
I got a great bargain on my new funky digital camera (which also plays mp3s), i bought it from a little mobile phone shop and saved myself about 100 quid from buying it from a proper camera shop.
Oh yeah, we also got to fly out of bangkoks new airport, it had only opened a week before we flew to vietnam, its very similar to the one in hong kong. We had italian food there, i had a brilliant lasagne for a couple of quid.
Well, next stop, vietnam
