Hoi An
Hoi An
Vietnam
October 2006
3 days
A few hours south is Hoi An our next stop - this is an ancient city with lots of chinese style shop houses, its very pretty however every other shop is a tailors!
Our hotel was a bit in the middle of nowehere as it was a 15min walk into town and a 3km cycle to the beach, but it did have a radioactive pool (the water really stung our eyes way worse than sea water and tasted weird).
We spent a couple of days cycling to the beach which was good, lorraine didnt crash - cept she did sort of collide with the gate to the hotel (we had our bikes in the evenings so we could cycle into town, then a bit pissed cycle home) so i guess that maybe counts as a crash, but nothing too bad - well the bike wasnt damaged!
We left Hoi An last night for Nha Trang.
