We weren't sure how much time we could afford to spend in dalat and seeing as we arrived early afternoon we decided to try and see all the sites that every day. So we hired a motor scooter and we drove about (in terrential rain) to see the valley of love. This was a bit of a tacky tourist thing with statues of teddy bears kissing and the like but the actual valley was very pretty and what with the recent rains there was cool mist hanging over the tops of the mountains.
After this we drove to some flower gardens thing which was a bit boring.
The evening we spent looking for somewhere....anywhere to eat - options were limited although we did eventually have some basic food washed down with a couple of bottles of Dalat Wine.
We left the next day for Mue Nie and warmer climates.
