After backtracking for a few hours in the bus we got to Mue Nie and the weather was definatly an improvement on the cooler climates of the highlands.

Our bus dropped us off miles from anywhere so we had to get a motor bike taxi (well 2) to go to the central bit of Mue Nie beach. It is a cool beachy type place with a massive 22km long white sandy beach.

We hired a motorscooter (again) and checked out a few things. We drove to some sand dunes and a red canyon, it was pretty cool - i did some sledging!

Lorraine managed to burn herslef on the exhaust pipe tho, it looks like it hurt loads as skin came off and everthing - she lost her tan on a bit of her leg - she's ok tho, its only on a small part of her leg. We were lucky we were in a small town at the time as i drove about looking for a chemist and found a local doctors surgery who cleaned and bandaged the wound.

Also in Mue Nie we had some beautiful food, we found out what rice vermichelli is (white cold noodles) and i had some amazing sea food for rock bottom prices.

We left after 4 days and headed down to Saigon
