Our bus dropped us off in the tourist area which is a bit like Koh San Road in thailand (backpacker hotels, bars and restaurants plus loads of shops selling dvds, cds and t-shirts) and were accosted by a woman immediatly and she took us to her guesthouse which was good value and the main thing was that it had cable tv showing the footie.
We spent a day wandering around the shops, we ended up buying loads of dvds, cds and i got a load of psp games.
Saigon, or Ho Chi Minh City, is ok, but very busy and a bit too hectic, we got ripped off a couiple of times which did not make our stay any better and after a couple of days we are glad to be leaving and flying back to Hanoi for one night and then its back to bangkok.
