We decided to go to little india as it's the backpacker area of Singapore. It was nothing like the rest of singapore, very backpackery, just one street with a few hostels and bars - most people coming from or going to australia and the vibe was similar to that in australia.
We did some shopping in and around orchad road but it was more expensive than KL so we didnt buy anything. We watched the footie in a bar one night and then in a random hostel in another where we got pretty drunk on beers bought from 7-11.
After 4 days we left and went back to KL to catch our flight to Sri Lanka.
