The weather has not been so great here as we wanted to go white water rafting but the river level is to high so its unsafe so have spent the last couple of days in shopping malls instead! Not sure how long Ill stay here - depends on weather. Might head back down to some Islands for some sun - miss the beach.

Anyway, sorry about the moaning at the start - moral of story is that Southern Loas is s*** and Northern Laos is good.

This guy sells dried squid - i had enough beer to try one - its not very nice - its like the fishiest saltiest thing ever with the texture of leather or rubber
