Its been a while since my last email, in truth ive been putting it off until i know whats happening for me.

Since xmas we came to melbourne from cairnes and spent new years at a random house party somewhere in the suburbs - there were lots of weird people there but it was a good night except we didnt see any fireworks.

Other than that i have now got a job, working as a freelance webdeveloper for an advertising company (thanks phil for setting me up). I have been here for about a month now. I am working on some huge projects for huge clients and as i have found out its very long hours and hard work but i am enjoying it. I also got to go to the xmas party as they had it in jan, it was cool - in a big converted warehouse and everyone (including me) was fancy dress, my costume was lame as i only found out about it and it being fancy dress the night before the party and someone at work leant me a sort of england football kit - but everyone else was in great costumes - the booze and food was free and a fun night was had - didnt get home till 2am at work 9am - ouch!

we have also got an apartment right in the heart of melbourne which is awesome - were on the 20th floor, we have a great view through our floor to ceiling windows and have a gym and pool as part of our building(s). Lorraine is using the gym and pool a heck of a lot, i try 2 times a week.

I have also bought a bike and cycle to work everyday - as you can probably tell from now, were planning on staying in melbourne for quite a while, as long as my job lasts to be honest.

so, this will probably be my last update email.

if you want to contact me (possibly about visitng us here in melbourne - or anything, gossip, jokes catchup etc..) email me.

its been a blast, been away from the UK for 10months or so now, am missing you all back in the UK - dunno when i will be back - can;t leave Oz at the moment, cos my working visa expires as soon as i leave the country!

I dunno what my favourite country was on my trip - so many awesome sights my highlights include:

(in reverse chronological order)
- camping on fraser Island - australia
- trekking in tiger leaping gorge - china
- tubing in vang vienne - laos
- looking at angkor wat - cambodia
- chillin and bbqs at koh samet - thailand
- gawping at the perhtentian islands - malaysia
- shopping in singapore
- leaving india (nah just kidding)
- relaxing and sunbathing in Goa (and watching the end of last season premiership footie)

well thats about it

signing off
