Then spent a week in the Tioman islands in Malaysia. Been there before but tit rained the all time. Thia time the weather was perfect. Went back to staying in the wooden huts. V. nice a nd cheap so this made up partly for spending all that cash in Sinagpore.

Just lazed on the beach most days and did some snorkelling as the water is so clear and there were lots of cool fish and coral stuff. Alos went on a boat trip around the island - v. bumpy but swam in a waterfall and did yet more snorkelling.

Nights there were pretty quiet - only one bar, so it got a bit dull after a week. The food was also surprisingly good and cheap but did get fed up of noodles and rice after a while. Got so fed up of mcdonalds in sngapore but was back to craving it after a week - v. poor!

A HUGE lizard
The flip-flops show its scale, there are several of these that wander around near the beach, they also swim in the nearby river at first i thought they were crocodiles!
