quite a bit has happened over the last week or so, we left KL although not before finding the largest shopping mall in malaysia (it was massive) which also had a theme park with a mental roller-coaster indoors! and some other insane rides that left both lorraine and i feeling a bit ill.

they also had the largest Imax in SE Asia and we saw this dinosaur movie (wearing manditory silly 3d glasses) - the 3d effects were very good, the movie was ok, bit soppy - not enough dinosaurs eating stuff.

we left KL and went to the Cameron Highlands which was such a change, the weather was more like englad (raining and cold most of the time) - we did a couple of jungle treks including going to a mossy forest (very wet) in which lorraine managed to find the biggest muddiest puddle and fall in it! We also went
on this 2 hour trek through proper jungle following this native bloke with a massive machette - we saw the worlds largest flower there (apparently it blooms for only 5 days at a time so we were very lucky to see it - althouhg i thought it would be bigger!)

Really enjoyed my 5 star hotel although it has now spoiled me for the rest of the accomodation. Had a good last day in KL where we went to a huge shopping mall and they had a theme park in there including a big roller coaster. So spend a couple of hours running round on all the rides.

Left last Sunday and went to the Cameron Highlands for 3 days. Bit of a contrast as it was very chilly at night. Did a day trip which included visiting some tea plantations and a jungle trek to see the largest flower in the world - it was very tiring. But the flower only is in bloom for 5 days so was lucky to see it, even though my trainers got covered in mud and now absolutely stink(and I fell in some mud - typical me!)

The worlds largest flower!
it was a 2hr trek in the jungle to get there - hence why we look knackered!
Lorraine blows - GOOD!
shes shooting a dart with a blow pipe - she actually hit the target! (i missed the tree the target was on!!!)

The mossy forest
(before lorraine fell in the largest muddiest puddle in the forest)
More tea?
The highlands and tea plantations
I shaved my head!!!
I look weird huh?
