Silves is a small historic town located inland, with a river running through it. It's a pleasant place to stroll around, and has a market, with a couple of restaurants outside that grill chickens and sardines on grills on the pavement.
The Market Restaurant
This place seemed to serve nothing but Chicken, which was cooked on a barbeque on the pavement. Excellent food, cheap, and very Portuguese!
