Made it to Le Crotoy, a tiny town by the sea a little way down from Calais.
Found a park for the van nice and easy (and free too, so we were already doing well) right across from a nice warm bar. Had a couple of glasses of red wine in the bar and then back to the van to sleep. Our first night's sleep was comfy and good and we went to sleep with the sound of rain dripping onto the roof.
