Drove through the French countryside to Mont-St-Michel, this big citadel on a rock that sits out in the ocean, when the tide is out it is surrounded by mud flats and you can walk all around it, but when the tide comes in, and we watched it come in really fast, it's an island surrounded by the sea. Such a cool place and a cool thing to watch happen. Got to park right in front of the citadel (unlike the 200 or so big white ugly motorhomes who paid to park further away), so had a great view as the sun went down and the tide came in.
