Inland again to Santiago where we spent the day and night.
Santiago is a really important place, as it marks the end of this huge 750km pilgramage that people do across the top of Spain called the Camino de Santiago. So we saw many a trekker with their compulsory walking stick and big backpack trudge into the square where the massive basiilica is and plonk themselves down on the ground for a rest. I'd say most of them had only been walking for a day or half a day, but it looked like it was hard work!
It was nice and hot so we took the chance to do some bar hopping around the old town, people watching and just having a nice relaxing day.
