Sintra was one of my favourite places. It's where the royals and the rich stay so it was full of palaces and mansions and castles. Up the top of the hill above the town was this huge fairytale castle, the Pena Palace which was awesome. It was multi-coloured and looked like something out of a kid's book. Around every corner in the town you'd spot another huge house, fancy garden or massive gates and driveway leading up to a palace. Pretty nice place to live if you could afford it!
