Another highlight of Spain was next, Valencia.
Valencia was a pretty cool place for such a big city, a bit of a change for us. And the home of paella too, hooray. Found a park for the van right near the beach which turned out to be this huge, nice beach popular with men sunbaking in g-strings for some strange reason.
We spent an afternoon wandering around the old town, then did some bar-hopping, drinking sangria and 2-4-1 Long Island Iced Teas and ended up by the beach with some wine watching people go by. There were markets set up along the beachfront and I scored a pair of thongs for 3 Euros, what a bargain!

The next day we lay on the beach for a few hours and then had a massive lunch of tapas and paella at a restaurant along the beach. It was so good! Had a walk around the America's Cup port and spotted a few of the big team's hideouts, most of them were packed up though since the race was all over.
Wanted to keep on heading north so it was back in the van again.
