From Gent it was across the border into the Zeeland area of the Netherlands. Crossed over a couple of bridges which spanned the water between the deltas. Spotted the first windmill. Very green area.
Stopped at a funny little town called Zierksee for the night. It had a weird sort of castle, a windmill in the middle of the town, and the Monster Tower which I think is actually a very strange church and a very smelly canal which was green. Interesting place. It did have some good frites and mayonnaise though, typical dutch style.
