Stayed in Avignon for the night, what a beautiful place too. The old walls surround the centre of the town. There was a nice park up the top with a nice view of the river and the city. There was a huge Cathedral and the Pope's palace and little winding streets with tiny courtyards, old old houses covered in climbers, just something cool and different around each corner. At night it was all lit up with old school lamps, really pretty.
