Not much further along the way were the roman ruins at Bolonia.
The ruins were pretty good, there was an amphitheatre, a church and forum and you could walk through the main street of the village, or at least through the remains of the walls of the buildings along it. The ruins were set just up from the beach, so it was a nice setting for them.
