We stopped off for a swim at a little beach near the Delta Ebre and then continued on into the delta to find somewhere to camp for the night. The delta was another new landscape for us, rice paddies and farms and canals with weird water birds jumping across the road in front of us. Thought we'd found a nice spot for the night by the beach, until the sun went down and the mozzies came out in force! We were getting attacked on all sides so we retreated out of there, slapping mozzies as we sped off.
Luckily we found another town a little further along, without any killer mozzies!
