There was this weird cool mist covering the coast this morning - middle of summer and there was fog, bizarre! So it wasn't much of a beach day at first so we kept on along the coast towards Faro.
We spotted a sign for a Sand Fiera so went to check that out. The sand sculptures were awesome and there was even a big Australia section, complete with a sculpture of Sydney Harbour.
Then on we went through the Pommy invasion of Portugal, past the horrible built up resorts and golf courses, it just didn't look like Portugal at all so we decided to cross back over into Spain.
