Tues 24 July
Got up pretty early and head into town to grab some seafood. Brad bought a massive bag of prawns and we jumped in the van and head down to the beach. I went for a swim and he cooked up his prawns in garlic and ate the whole lot!
Next up was Seville. It was probably the hottest day we'd had so far, so it was really nice to sit outside under a big umbrella and have a huge lunch of tapas and sangria. After that we had a walk around the Alcazar which had a hedge maze and some nice gardens to cool off in. Did some more bar hopping that night too, just wandering about the town and trying different places out, it was fun.
Wed 25 July
We'd seen the signs for it everywhere so we just had to go to Isla Magica, a theme park in Seville. We were looking forward to some waterslides, but we were let down in the that department. There were a couple of log rides where you got a bit of a splash, so they were good for cooling down. I was wondering why there wasn't anyone else our age lining up to get in, but I worked it out when we had a look at the rides....it was really more for kids, but hey some of it was still fun. Brad got picked on by a couple of very camp pirates as we walked in because he was wearing a pink shirt, we couldn't understand what they were saying but we could get the gist! So funny.
Spent most of the day there and then head towards the coast, we were dying for a beach again already!
