We head over the border through the mountains to Slovakia. The roads were crappy and slow and snowy at first, but then it cleared up and there wasn't as much snow around as I thought there would be.
On our way to Jasna, where we thought we'd stay and do some skiing first, we spotted this massive castle built up on a rock in a tiny little town. We weren't expecting anything along the way so that was really cool.
We found some accommodation in a town near Jasna but decided not to organise anything till the next day since it was already late afternoon.
The next day we did some shopping in town and then after checking out the ski resort decided to try Donovaly instead which was about 40mins away.
