Playa Del Carmen / Cancun
21st November 2006

Our last day in Mexico was spent at the beach side ruins of Tulum. An attractive site with these ancient structures blending in with the palm trees and ocean backdrop.

For the first time we hit the beach in daylight and sampled the ocean. It was warm and clear, but was a windy day so getting out again was rather cold.

We headed back for the farewell dinner and to say our goodbyes to our GAP group! We thanked our tour guide Leah who had been great. Being in a group allowed us to experience things such as the Sink Holes and the Waterfall walk, things that we would never have though of going to on our own....so many thanks for that.

Our next stop was not that far away and only a short flight north to the marvellous Miami! Adios Amigos...
