Halloween
So its Halloween and does America care - oh yeah, from San Fran onwards you have never seen such preparations for people, property and dogs!!! Everyone (and their dog it seemed!!) had to have a costume, be someone or something and join the trick or treat party.

We have to be honest that we did take some chocolates and sweets to keep ourselves going and with that debt in our mind, we dressed up as a devil (Jon) and a mouse (Sarah) and walked out with our hostel joining 500,000 people for probably the biggest Halloween parade in North America. We saw the weird, the wonderful, the damn-right-tacky and the crossdressing!!!

In cases like this I think the pictures speak a thousand words, but we have never seen anything like it before and probably will never again!!!

A straight guy from our hostel dressed as though he might bat for the other side..... and this seemed to lower the defenses of many women along the parade who let him hug, kiss and grope them seeing no threat! Little did they know he was 100% straight and was loving every minute of it..... My hat is off to you sir... Genius!

We slipped off in to the dark of the night back to our lair to prepare our potions, lotions and ... okay our rucksacks and laundry for the next location.... Mexcio!!!
