Don & Judy left Salzburg by train, and toured the countrysides of Austria, Germany, and Liechtenstein before meeting their son Mark at the rail platform in Sargans, Switzerland. They then checked into the Romantik Hotel Stern in Chur, a great jump-off point for rail tours.
From here, the three travelers were treated to two of the best-known scenic rail routes in the world: the Bernina Express and the Glacier Express.
